The Spirits of thy Lines infuse a Fire
Like the Worlds Soul, which makes me thus aspire
~Henry Cornelius Agrippa
FIRE
Fire symbolizes destruction, creation, and transformation. It can be representative of our desires and passions. Fire is the only element that exists only because it destroys.

For there to be Fire, you'll need oxygen, fuel (gasoline, wax, charcoal, wood etc.) and a chemical reaction between the two, this is the exothermic chemical process of combustion that will give off light, heat and smoke. Carbon dioxide, water vapor, oxygen and nitrogen - this is the visible flame you see.

The use of Fire in spells can be powerful and full of energy. Burning incense, candles, bay leaves, sigils and even cat's whiskers are all popular ways to harness this element and add Fire energy to your spells, messages and offerings.
Cleansing with Fire is also very powerful, either by using the fire itself or the smoke it produces. Physical fire can purify metal and stone, anything that the fire cannot physically destroy.
Fire is volatile and situated at the South of the Wheel of Time and the Sacred Circle.
Corresponds to the suit of Wands in Tarot, Burns fast, days.
